Knight vs Plate?
Alright I had a complete set of platemail armor, but am being told that even though the knight's armor is 5AL less, it protects better because of the absorbtion. I would like a comparison to see which is genuinly better. You see I used superior absorbtion runes on my plate cuirass and plate leggings, and other runes on the rest. If the knight's armor is as good as that, then I have those two locations free for other runes, such as superior vigor. Is the knight's armor better versus magic or something? That's where I am weakest, to an insane level.
Plate Set: Helm - STR +1, Tactics +2, Health - 50 Cuirass - Major Absorbtion Leggings - Major Absorbtion Boots - Major Vigor Gauntlets - Swordsmanship + 2, Health - 50 So would switching to knight's armor help me against magic or would I just be 5AL weaker? |

those 2 Major Absorbtion won't stack - so you're only getting the benefit of one of them...most people would switch a piece of plate out with Knight as the absorption from Knight is all-encompassing...
(this is only based on what I've read here - personally, I use Gladiator and the Crystal Desert Collector Executer Helm) |
